The Visual City

Usually the main focus on this blog is on 3D visualization for product development companies. However, as you all know 3D visualization and visual communication are also gaining momentum quickly in many other areas. And so is Right Hemisphere’s Technology.

One excellent example is the work Nextspace is doing around the concept they call “The Visual City”. Nextspace is a partner company of Right Hemisphere. They are leveraging Right Hemisphere’s Technology to provide 3D visualisation solutions and the Visual City is one of their flagship developments. The platform can capture, store, process and display muilt-dimensional information about cities – like maps, plans, resource consents, operational systems, live sensor feeds, building models and transport routes – and a wide variety of economic, social, environmental and cultural phenomena – such as historical records and photographs.
